The tenth edition of PlanetaVino magazine’s monograph recognises the influence that one hundred outstanding Spanish wine brands have had on the history of their respective wineries or production areas, and on the country’s wine heritage. Among them, Abadal Picapoll, featured alongside wines such as L’Ermita, Pingus, Clos Mogador, Gramona III Lustros, Raventós i Blanc and Pago de Carraovejas, completing the list of one hundred selected wines.

In the page dedicated to Abadal Picapoll, the monograph revisits the winemaking history of the Bages region and the origins of Abadal winery, explaining how the Picapoll variety has become, to this day, a symbol of both the winery and the region, standing out from the beginning for its aromas, structure, and natural freshness.
