Abadal wines featured in the Mary’s Meals charity tasting, led by Ferran Centelles

The charity event in support of the international organisation Mary’s Meals took place on 16 October at the iconic Cotton House Hotel in Barcelona. The evening included a charity wine tasting led by sommelier Ferran Centelles, from elBullifoundation.

Participating wineries included Abadal, Bodegas Muga, Familia Torres, Gallina de Piel Wines, Juvé & Camps, Pago de los Capellanes, Pazo de Señorans, Perelada and Vinyes Domènech. Representing Abadal, the wine presented was Abadal Nuat 2022.

The evening also included a charity auction featuring magnums and special bottles, among them a limited-edition magnum of Abadal Selecció 2011.

For over twenty years, Mary’s Meals has provided daily school meals to children living in poverty in countries such as Malawi, Ethiopia, India, Haiti, Yemen and Syria. The organisation currently feeds more than 2.6 million children every school day, at an estimated cost of just €22 per child per school year.
