On Saint George’s Day (Saint George -Sant Jordi- is Catalonia’s patron saint and is also known as “the day of the book and the rose”) three new volumes were added to the series of biographical books “Retrats de Vi “ (Portraits of Wine), written by journalist Ruth Troyano Puig. This brings the total of volumes in this series to six. It provides an in-depth look at some of the oenologists trained at URV, a Catalan university, and it explores their professional and personal experience in winemaking. The protagonist of one of these books is our oenologist; Miquel Palau.
