On Saturday, November 23, the latest edition of the Abadal Wine Experience & Christmas Market was held, a benchmark event ahead of the holiday season that combines tradition, wine, gastronomy, and a festive atmosphere.
Throughout the day, attendees explored the market area, where up to 28 exhibitors showcased and sold artisanal, gastronomic, and Christmas products. The gastronomic offering was complemented by food trucks, the Abadal Wine Bar, and the Collection Wine Bar, spaces that became meeting points for lovers of fine wine and quality food. Meanwhile, live musical performances, guided tours of the winery, and activities specially designed for children were also available.
One of the main attractions of the day was the thirteen scheduled tasting experiences. In the morning, activities such as Four Seasons Tapas Pairing, Caviar Textures, and Tasting Our Land highlighted the value of local and seasonal products. In the afternoon, events like The Art of Contemporary Pizza, Catalan Artisan and Shepherd Cheeses, or Ham and Wine Harmonies captivated participants with pairings ranging from classic to the most original combinations.
The gastronomic meals were another highlight of the event. At midday, the French Cuisine Gastronomic Lunch led by chef Michel Garnier and the High Cuisine Gastronomic Lunch with Cal Marquès, accompanied by sommelier Sílvia Culell, offered attendees a unique culinary experience. The day concluded with the Abadal Festival Gastronomic Dinner, hosted by Can Fortuny restaurant and winemaker Miquel Palau.
