Abadal Arboset 2019 has been recognised by the Catalonia Wine Guide 2026 as Best Red Wine and Best Wine of the Edition, with a score of 9.93. The wine shares the highest category with two wines from Priorat and one from Terra Alta.

This year’s edition, marking the 18th anniversary of the guide, was presented on Monday, 6 October, at Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona, during the traditional Best Wines of the Guide event, which brought together 111 wineries and offered tastings of more than 400 wines. To compile the guide, 1,009 wines from 177 wineries were blind-tasted.

Abadal Arboset was included in the Discoveries section, where the authors describe it as “elegant, refined, easy to drink yet difficult to taste, complex and, above all, unique. It is surprising how this vineyard incorporates the surrounding forest and brings it forward as a gift to the taster.”

The guide also recognised Abadal Mandó 2022, with 9.72 points, as the best wine made from this native variety, alongside the Mandó from Solergibert winery.
