The XXIII edition of the Top Wines from Spain Tasting Showroom was held on November 13th and 14th, organised by Peñín.
Only wines with a rating of 90 points or more in the Peñín Guide to Spanish Wines were showcased, and the professionals attending were able to discover more than 2,000 wines from 80 Spanish producing areas, handed to them by the producers themselves. The Abadal wines at the Peñín Tasting Showroom were Abadal Picapoll, Abadal Mandó, Abadal Cinc, Abadal 3.9 Vi de Finca and Abadal Nuat.
Also, on November 22nd, the 9th edition of the ABC Wine Show took place at the ABC Serrano in Madrid. The wines there gained the highest scores in the ABC Wine Guide 2024, selected by Pilar Cavero, wine critic for the newspaper ABC. The wines represented by Abadal were Abadal Nuat and Abadal 3.9, the latter obtaining 93 points in the ABC Guide 2024.
These scores join those the winery recently obtained in the Proensa Guide 2024. This is another reference guide for the sector in Spain, prepared by Andrés Proensa, which awarded 93 points for Abadal Cinc.
