Once again, the Abadal Winery took part in the fair to showcase Catalan wine and cava – “Mostra de Vi i Cava de Catalunya”. This year, it took place at the market; Mercat de Sant Antoni in Barcelona. This fair aims to bring Catalan wine closer to consumers and also to bring wineries from all of the Denominations of Origin together in a festive setting. The event was included in the programme of activities to celebrate Barcelona’s annual Festes de Mercé. Once again, this event was a huge success as it attracted a high level of participation and ticket sales.
At one of the events at the fair, Abadal held a tasting session of native varieties and it presented its Estate Wine; Abadal 3.9 Vi de Finca. At the stand, there were six references from the winery: Abadal Blanc, Abadal Rosat, Abadal Franc, Abadal Picapoll, Abadal Crianza and Abadal 3.9 Vi de Finca. These wines could also be purchased at the store at the fair.
