On Sunday the 14th of May, the vats from the Flequer Valley, in the heart of the Bages region, hosted the concert by Cantata of Peasants, by J.S. Bach, in the middle of a landscape burnt by a fire in 2022, that became the perfect stage to pay homage to the peasantry.
Anna Romaní, the ballerina, provided the dance, Miquel Desclot, the poetry; the music was the responsibility of the Bachcelona Consort, and Abadal and the restaurant Cal Carter from Mura offered a mini tasting of their wines and cuisine.
This cultural proposal organized by Espurnes Barroques (Baroque Sparks) is set during the festival Natura en Dansa (Nature in Dance), which offers concerts in select locations of the central part of Catalonia from the 12th of May to the 11th of June.
