The wine cellar’s wine and food event has received the “Vinari Award for the Best Wine Tourism Experience in the Cultural, Social and Sporting Fields”.
With seven editions behind it, the eighth will be held this November in the lead up to Christmas, with wine and gastronomy taking centre stage. Since its first edition in 2016, the Abadal Wine Experience has gradually established itself over the years as a benchmark event. With a wide range of activities programmed, the public can enjoy visits to the winery, a gastronomic and Christmas market, music performances, children’s activities, a Gastro Bar, guided wine-tasting sessions and first-class gourmet lunches and dinners, among other things.
This is the third edition of the Vinari Wine Tourism Awards. Organised by Vadevi, they aim to raise awareness and lend prestige to the quality of projects and wine tourism-related activities. The prize-giving ceremony took place on Friday, 7 June at the Perelada winery in Empordà.
