On November 25th, the seventh edition of the Abadal Wine Experience & Christmas Market took place. It’s the winery’s way of welcoming the Christmas season, with wine and cuisine taking centre stage in a unique landscape of vineyards and forest.
Throughout the day, visitors were able to enjoy the market area, with artisanal and gastronomic products, the cuisine area with food trucks and a wine bar, live concerts, visits to the winery and activities for little ones.
As for tastings and gastronomic experiences, there were a range of new tasting experiences were on offer, including the Finca Qualificada Wine Tasting, the World Cheese Tasting, Classic Cuisine, Modern Wines and Jazz&Wine. The event also included three first-class meals: the Rice Cuisine Lunch with chef Jordi Llobet, who has a Michelin Star; the Gastronomic Fusion Lunch, with Japanese chef Mutsuo Kowaki and, to close, the Gastronomic Dinner by the Parareda brothers and Miquel Palau, the winery’s oenologist, paired with some of the winery’s most exclusive wines.
