Abadal has recently been recognised by James Suckling, one of the most influential wine critics worldwide, with outstanding scores for several of the winery’s wines.

Suckling, former editor of Wine Spectator and a global reference in the wine world, tastes and rates thousands of wines each year. His scores are widely regarded as a key benchmark for both professionals and consumers.

In this latest assessment, four wines from the winery have reached 92 points. The Abadal Arboset 2021 is noted for its character and tension, showing notes of black cherry, liquorice and a spicy profile. The Abadal Nuat 2023 stands out for its complexity and elegance, with aromas of white fruit, creamy nuances and a long, well-balanced finish.

Meanwhile, Abadal 3.9 Vi de Finca Qualificada 2021, also rated 92 points, shows intensity and structure, with depth and balance. Finally, Abadal Mandó 2023 is described as precise and vibrant, with freshness and finesse on the palate.

In addition, Abadal Picapoll 2024 has been awarded 90 points.
