During the first term of the year, Abadal has been present in the main international fairs of the sector: Barcelona Wine Week, Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, Foodex Japan and Prowein.
The first event of the year was the Barcelona Wine Week (BWW) from the 6th to the 8th of February, at the Montjuich facilities in Barcelona. A fair that has grown steadily since its first edition in 2020, to the point of receiving over 20.000 professionals of the sector from 79 countries, and over 800 cellars from 70 designations of origin and seals of quality, with the purpose of becoming the reference wine fair in the Spanish market.
From the 13th to the 15th of February the cellar participated in the 4th Edition of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, at the Paris Expo venue, which attracted over 3.300 exhibitors from 42 wine producing countries.
In Asia, it was the turn of Foodex Japan, at the Tokyo Big Sight fair centre, the biggest Agri-Food fair of the Asia-pacific region, which held its 48th Edition this year, from the 7th to the 10th of March. A key fair to get introduced and consolidated in Asia.
The final stop was Prowein, at the Messe Düsseldorf facility (Germany) from the 19th to the 21st of March, a reference international fair of the wine and spirits sector that is held since the year 1994. Three intense days at a fair attended by 49.000 professional visitors from 141 different countries, who were able to meet over 6000 exhibitors-86% of which were International-.
