Huge success of Abadal’s 8th edition of Sopar del Most

On 29 September last, Abadal held its VIII Sopar del Most (“most” in Catalan is “must”), an evening to celebrate food and most. The theme of this edition was; “ A vine’s life cycle inside the wine bottle ”.  Abadal held an original tasting session to uphold the longstanding tradition of this gala in honour of the “must”, however, there were a few novelties: a stroll through the vineyards with grape-tasting and snacks: a must-tasting session and a taste of wines while they are being processed;  in the winery, visitors could taste a Chardonany and a Merlot that was being fermented in oak and another Merlot in a stainless steel vat. The evening came to a close with a wine pairing and a taste of autumn cuisine.
